The Bolder Boulder started in 1979 as a small local race with a few thousand people joining together to celebrate Memorial Day. Forty-five years later, the race has attracted more than 1.6 million people to walk, jog and run.

The Flamingo Day 5K run and walk will return for a fourth year on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver. With themed shirts and finisher’s medals, the race is a fun way to stay healthy, active and motivated in your fitness goals.
