Two Colorado runners won at the Broken Arrow Skyrace on Sunday, October 3, a three-day event held at the Palisades Tahoe resort in Olympic Valley, California. Joseph Gray, 37, Colorado Springs, and Janelle Lincks, 28, Thornton won the event.

Running can be a great way to keep fit as well as boost your mental well-being. It can become addictive, whether you use it as a way to clear your mind when you’re feeling stressed or pushing yourself to run just a little bit further each time.

The 7th annual Colorado Springs Marathon presented by Centura Health welcomed more than 1,000 runners to downtown on Saturday, October 2nd.  Seasoned runners and those tackling their first 5k took part in the event with four events to choose from.
