Event Information:
For 20 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.

Join the competitive wave for a fast-paced 5K course with traditional age group awards. This wave starts bright and early at 8:00 am. Or, for a more relaxed pace, join the ‘5K Jog/Walk + YETI’ wave at 8:45 am. All waves start and end at Centennial park in downtown Cañon City, Colorado. All bibbed individuals must complete the race under their own power (unless registered in the Rider category). If pushed in a stroller, children may NOT have a bib and compete for age-level awards.

Virtual Option:
Join us virtually at your own pace on a day that works best for you! (Virtual participants will not be eligible for age-group awards, but will receive a bib and shirt in the mail.)

Youth Exercise Training Initiative:
Student runners who are part of the YETI program will join the YETI wave, which starts at 8:45 am. If you’re a parent or friend of a YETI runner, or you’d like a more relaxed race start, register for the 5K Jog/Walk + YETI wave. Please note that aid stations and an official finish line will be available until 9:45 am.

Join a “school team”:
Are you running with or in support of a YETI runner? Join their schools’ “team” (select the button at registration) and you’ll be added. The team / school with the most participants receives the coveted YETI traveling trophy!
