Rocky Mountain Trail Camp

July 27, 2023

$500 – $1950

The Rocky Mountains are a magical and breathtaking place. From our basecamp in Leadville we will soak in views of nearby towering 14,000 foot peaks as we explore a variety of challenging trails during the beautiful mountain summer in Colorado. The crew from Becoming Ultra and your expert coaches will host special clinics and accommodate all levels of runners as we guide you through these vast and sweeping landscapes.

The venue:

Freight Leadville is “situated in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest fourteener. A passenger train still puffs by the window every afternoon. The gorgeous, fully restored depot holds over 200 people, making it a perfect event venue, conference center or wedding venue in Leadville, Colorado. Along with the barn-like depot, the property includes an elegant courtyard, retrofitted Whisky Lime Lounge in a historic shed, and conference room for workshops and intimate family gatherings.”

It’s such a unique space and perfect for hosting a running retreat!

Where will we be running?

Leadville is a one of a kind mountain town situated at 10,152’ above sea level. As rugged as it is beautiful it comes to us as the perfect hub to run and experience all it has to offer! learn more about Leadville here!

One thing we love about this new camp is the fact that everything is so close. We will be running in the morning and able to point at the mountain we ran while hanging out in the evening.

We will be running some of the epic trails near and around Turquoise Lake, the famous Hope Pass, Mosquito Pass, and more! We will be bringing back the 14er summit to this retreat so you’ll have a chance to get almost as high as you could in the lower 48!
