Pikes Peak Ultra was created in 2015 to showcase some of the very best trails in Colorado Springs.  As a teenager, RD Justin Ricks trained on these trails and dreamed of one day hosting a race. After creating Mad Moose Events, Pikes Peak Ultra was one of the first races he opened. Its course will take you from Bear Creek Regional Park, up High Drive, and into Cheyenne Canyon. The course is almost completely run on crushed granite, which is typical of Colorado Springs’ trails. Runners will catch views of Pikes Peak from along the course, as they run along parts the Ring the Peak Trail.  The 50K and 50 Mile will summit Mt. Rosa, where runners will get amazing view of the city below. Join the Mad Moose Herd at one of our favorite events!
