One of Durango’s most popular running races for over 25 years, the Turkey Trot presented by Mercy Regional Medical Center is a holiday tradition for the whole family. Come burn off some calories and work up an appetite before your big meal!

The Turkey Trot features a 5 mile race and a 1 mile fun run. All of the proceeds go to great local charities like Annie’s Orphans, Manna Soup Kitchen, and others.

*** NEW COURSE THIS YEAR *** Very similar to the past course, but instead of starting at the Fort Lewis College clocktower, we will start at the Smith Sports Complex across the street from the Fort Lewis College campus. This change is due to FLC Covid precautions which restrict large events like ours from being on the main campus. The course will still include the Hillcrest neighborhood, the reservoir, the road behind the golf course, and Rim Drive. It will measure out at just under 5 miles.

One aid station with water and Powerade is available on the course.
