Colorado Veterans Project Reveals Lineup of 2024 Events to Support and Honor Veterans

Colorado Veterans Project (CVP), one of the largest veteran-related nonprofits in Colorado, has announced the dates for its 2024 events, including the Freedom 4-Miler, Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament and the Denver Veterans Day Run, Parade & Festival. Registration, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are now open on the Colorado Veterans Project website. 

Presented by Charles Schwab and hosted by Colorado Veterans Project, the seventh annual Freedom 4-Miler will be hosted on Saturday, June 29. The Freedom 4-Miler offers a ridiculously patriotic 1-mile “fun run” and 4-mile race, plus the opportunity to showcase patriotism and raise funds ahead of Independence Day. The event will once again be held at the Charles Schwab Campus, located in Lone Tree, Colo. beginning at 8 a.m. All proceeds from the Freedom 4-Miler will go directly to helping veterans and veteran organizations in Colorado.

Now in its fourth year, the Let Freedom Swing Golf Tournament will invite golfers of all levels to hit the course for a great cause on Thursday, Sept. 19. Golfers can enjoy an 18-hole round with colleagues and friends at the Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Pines, Colo. on the best course in Colorado according to Colorado Golf magazine, all while giving back to the veteran and military community. 

Every year, on Veterans Day weekend, Denver comes together to celebrate its local and national heroes with the Denver Veterans Day Run and Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival, which will once again be held at City Park on Saturday, Nov. 9. The 16thannual edition of the run will offer a fantastic course for runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities to complete 5K or 10K races, in-person or virtually. Hosted in partnership with the City of Denver, the 11th annual Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival will show respect and honor for local veterans while raising funds to support veteran organizations across Colorado.
