The Flamingo Day 5K run and walk will return for a fifth year on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver. With themed shirts and finisher’s medals, the race is a fun way to stay healthy, active and motivated in your fitness goals. Registration is open at https://www.coloradorunnerevents.com/Flamingo/
Runners and walkers will receive a disposable timing chip on their bib number to time their race as they complete the 5k course. A course map is available online. A virtual run option is also available online for runners who can’t make it on race day.
This year, pink flamingo day officially falls on June 23. Celebrate the joy and carefree wackiness of plastic pink flamingos by sporting your race shirt and proudly displaying your race medal. Good luck on your run and remember – always be yourself, unless you can be a flamingo!
A photographer will be on hand to take pictures. The photos will be available for download for free after the event.
