Market Disrupting Underdog Drankful Breaks Into Hydration Pack Category

With a mission to empower all athletes by providing them the smoothest way to move with their hydration, Nashville-based Drankful is coming to market with the most innovative hydration pack ever built, the Stealth.

Drankful founder and seven-time marathon finisher Ryan Prinzing knew hydration could be done better, and his new Stealth Series packs are going to change the way you perceive hydration while moving outdoors.

The clunky, sloppy, overly branded options that existed until now were not the answer for this former Division I baseball standout turned marathoner, as he got into long-distance trail running and road races as a way to fuel his adrenaline needs, get outdoors, and push his limits after college. He knew there must be a better way to move with water, not only for endurance athletes like himself, but for anyone that carries a pack outside.

So he decided to create his own, and for the last two years, Prinzing worked tirelessly in his apartment between training runs and a day job to design a hydration pack that solved his needs: one that would feel smooth on any terrain, reduces the awkwardness and sloshiness of the reservoir, and actually feels good to wear. Bottom line, said Prinzing, “I wanted it to move with you, not against you.”

Drankful’s mission is “to bring power to athletes by providing them with the smoothest way to move with their hydration.” To this end, they’ve designed the sleekest, most low-profile, best-looking, sloshless carrying system ever made.

The Stealth pack is multi-dimensional and versatile for all outdoorists. Due to the compact, lower center of gravity, high breathability, a stable and secure fit, the all-new Stealth hydration pack is great for trail and endurance runs, bike tours, and of course peak bagging and day hikes. Stealth works remarkably well for mountain bikers too – providing riders with exceptional mobility, weather resistance, and steadiness to dominate any trail.

On the outside, its sleek, low-profile design is a cross between minimalistic and futuristic. The fabric is bluesign-approved, lightweight and breathable, yet also weatherproof and durable — as well as highly reflective for safety.

On the inside, a unique reservoir rests comfortably like a pillow in the pack, taking pressure away from the spine and leaving no room for fluids to bounce or move. This is made possible by the internal “drawbridge” baffle divider that separates the reservoir from your lighter gear, creating 2 shelved spaces for maximum organizational capacity. To add flare and functionality, hidden features like quick access pockets are thoughtfully placed to make grabbing everything you need fast and easy.

This game-changing pack will launch on Kickstarter on August 3, 2021.

With an expected MSRP of $169, the pack will launch with a tiered discount program and incentives.

True Multi-Sport Hydration Innovation in a Family of Three Packs

The full line of innovation includes three Drankful packs, each one building on the functionality and innovation of the pack vest.

Drankful wanted to give mountain bikers and other waist-pack loving outdoorists their own bag. This trend-worthy hip pack is for those who like to mix up their hydration on their hips rather than their back. With the same reservoir that’s used in the Stealth pack, the Mountain Bike Hydration Waist Pack is designed to eliminate the clunky feeling associated with traditional lumbar packs and replace it with agility and comfort. With Drankful, hydration becomes less noticeable, giving you the freedom to focus on your adventure – and not your pack.

Lastly, for those quick out-the-door missions, the minimalist yet feature-loaded Running Waist Pack expands to load all your essentials, then automatically compresses to stay tight and secure to your body, eliminating unnecessary bulk, bounce, and maximizing efficiency.

Promoting Global Water Access

Of course, you can’t have a name like “Drankful” without a giving back component, and that is where the brand’s support for charity:water was born.

Promoting “quick and easy access to your water” didn’t feel right without acknowledging those who do not have quick access to water today. That number is about 1 in 10 people globally that have to walk miles a day just to fill up a jug of safe water for themselves and families. Drankful will give a portion of each pack sold directly toward creating wells closer to these villages so that everyone can experience the luxury of quick access to clean drinking water.
