Governor Polis allowed retail stores to reopen for curbside pickup on April 27 with stores allowed to reopen to the public on May 1. As stores reopen their doors, consider shopping at and supporting your local running store business. It can sometimes be easier to shop on Amazon, but most of Colorado’s running retailers are mom and pop shops that directly benefit Colorado’s economy. Many are offering contactless pickup or delivery in an effort to save their businesses.
Many stores were hard hit by the March and April coronavirus shutdowns and need to make up revenue to stay open. Some local stores are reporting sales are down 80%.
