Nearly 600 runners and walkers traveled 3.1 miles down Upper Bear Creek Road to the Evergreen Lake House in the Evergreen Town Race 5K. This downhill course has the distinction of being the fastest 5K in Colorado as the men’s course record of 14:07 is the fastest 5K run in Colorado. The female course record of 16:29 is only a few seconds from being the fastest female 5K run in Colorado.
