Join us for the 20th anniversary of the Greenland Trail Races! The race is scheduled for May 4, 2024 in Larkspur, Colorado at the Greenland Open Space Park in southern Douglas County, south of Castle Rock, just off I-25. The Greenland Trail 50K has been awarded the Road Runners Club of America Colorado Ultra Championship. More details can be found online at www.greenland50k.com.

The Greenland 50K is celebrating its 20th year of trail running at Greenland Open Space. When the first Greenland 50K race occurred in 2005, the trails were newly opened to the public as one of Douglas County’s newest parks.

In addition to enjoying a wide dirt trail race that travels Colorado’s Front Range Trail, runners and walkers will receive a technical running shirt in both men’s and women’s sizing, a finisher’s medal, chip timing, and food and drink at the finish. The race also offers a 25K distance and an 8 mile distance for runners and walkers. A 4 mile course has also been added for runners looking to try trail running but don’t want the commitment of training for a longer event.

The trail running festival benefits the Douglas Land Conservancy. The Douglas Land Conservancy is a non-profit land trust dedicated to the protection and conservation of the natural character, habitat, and open space of the central Front Range region of Colorado, including Douglas County and surrounding areas.

The series is sponsored by the Runners Roost, Road ID, Gatorade, and Hal Sports.
