In this week’s edition of Colorado Future Stars we’ll be taking a look at recent sophomore performances.
Colorado, (if you haven’t already) meet Jordan Banta!
The Air Academy sophomore recently ran 2:16.17 to finish second in the 800 at the Broomfield Shootout.

The performance was a personal best for Banta, as it sliced a little over half-a-second off her previous PR.
A year ago she opened in 2:21.91, and ran herself all the way down to 2:16.67. So, she’s already five-seconds ahead of where she was last year at this point.
Of additional note, it was Banta’s first race of the season.
