The Cookie Chase 5K run and walk will return to Denver for a fourth year on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, and more, this is a great value and a family friendly fun run and walk. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome.

Runners and walkers will complete a flat and fast 5K course through the park, then enjoy a finisher’s medal, a vendor village, food and drinks, a themed shirt and awards for the top runners.
Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with a special award and they are also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race. The age groups are as follows: 9 and under, and then ten year age groups up to 80+.
A prerace packet pickup will be held at Runners Roost in Denver on Colorado Boulevard the day before the race. Runners can also register for the race at the packet pickup. On race morning, packet pick up and registration will begin at 7:00 am. Runners can choose to run in one of three waves – 7:30am, 8am or 8:30am.
