The Pumpkin Pie 5K & 10K is coming to City Park in Denver on Saturday, November 19. Runners and walkers can take advantage of a flat and fast course, and then enjoy a slice of sweet and tasty pumpkin pie at the finish. The races kick off at 9am. Registration is now open at www.pumpkinpie5k.com.
“We are a community 5K and 10K,” said race director Derek Griffiths. “Our mission is to bring people together to have a fun, fit morning, all while supporting the many different needs throughout our region.”
All participants will receive a race logo shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, professional chip timing, free photo downloads, and aid stations with water and Gatorade. A post race celebration will feature pumpkin pie and area vendors.
The 5K race will serve as the USATF Colorado state 5k championship event. Runners who are interested in competing for prize money and USATF Colorado championship medals can learn more here: https://colorado.usatf.org/events/2022/2022-usatf-colorado-5-km-championships
