Both the men’s and women’s course records fell at the Labor Day Half Marathon in Parker on Monday, September 5, 2022. Ryder Searle set a new men’s course record over the 13.1 mile course in 1:07:27. The 26-year-old managed to maintain a 5:09 minute per mile pace on the hot day that had temperatures reaching into the 90s. The previous course record was set by Kenneth Foster in 2020 of 1:09:46.
Breanna Boehmer set a new women’s course record in the half marathon in 1:21:47, beating the previous course record of 1:24:01.
More than 600 runners and walkers came out for the event. Here are pictures of the race, which also included a 10k and a 5k.
