Register now for the 18th Annual Greenland Trail Races. The races are scheduled for May 7 in Larkspur, Colorado at the Greenland Open Space Park in southern Douglas County. The start of the event is south of Castle Rock, just off I-25. More details can be found online at www.greenland50k.com.
The races include four different distances – a 50K ultramarathon, a 25k, an 8 miler and a 4 miler. All four events will take place on the same day.
The Greenland 50K is celebrating 18 years of trail running at Greenland Open Space. In addition to enjoying a wide dirt trail race that travels Colorado’s Front Range Trail, runners and walkers will receive a technical running shirt in both men’s and women’s sizing, a finisher’s medal for 25k, 8 mile and 4 mile runners, a belt buckle for 50K runners, and chip timing.
The trail running festival benefits the Douglas Land Conservancy. The Douglas Land Conservancy is a non-profit land trust dedicated to the protection and conservation of the natural character, habitat, and open space of the central Front Range region of Colorado, including Douglas County and surrounding areas.
The series is sponsored by the Runners Roost, Road ID, Gatorade, and Colorado Runner.
