Get into the holiday spirit with the Christmas Sweater 5K! Runners and walkers, young and old, are invited to join us at Washington Park in Denver for a flat, fast course. Dress in a tacky sweater – the more tinsel, bows, reindeer and candy canes, the merrier. It’s not a fashion faux pas if you’re supposed to wear it!
The Christmas Sweater 5K will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2022 at Washington Park in Denver. With themed shirts, finisher’s medals, disposable bib chip timing, free photo downloads, awards for top runners, and more, this is a great value and a family friendly fun run. The 5K kicks off with waves at 8, 8:30 and 9 am. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome.
Runners Roost will help the winners of each race celebrate with a new pair of shoes and they are also giving $20, $15, and $10 gift certificates to first, second, and third place age group winners in every race.
A prerace packet pickup will be held at Runners Roost in Denver on Colorado Boulevard on Saturday, December 18. Runners can also register for the race at the packet pickup. On race morning, packet pick up and registration will begin at 7am.
