Just over 300 people took to the trail around Sloan Lake for the annual Denver 5K hosted by 3W races. The weather was perfect for racing and fast times were abundant!
Mark Husted of Golden led six runners under the 15 minute mark, winning the race in 14:40. He was followed by Kyle Moran of Golden (14:43), Luke Julian of Golden (14:48), Grahm Tuhoy-Gaydos of Lakewood (14:48), Dylan Ko of Wheat Ridge (14:50) and Ian Butler of Lakewood (14:55).
62-year-old Roger Sayre of Golden took the top master’s honors in 18:56.
