The Vail Shamrock Shuffle released this information:

“Due to a mandatory public health order from Eagle County, this Saturday’s Shamrock Shuffle event will no longer be taking place in person at the Vail Nordic Center – but it will continue online.

The Vail Recreation District invites all Shamrock Shuffle registrants, and anyone else who wants to participate, to run/walk/snowshoe/Yaktrax at a location of their own choosing sometime between Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16. Go for a shuffle on your own and post your results and photos on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #VRDshuffle – don’t forget to dress in your most fun and festive Irish green.

Every registered Shamrock Shuffle participant is already entered into the raffle, featuring prizes from our great sponsors, including a Salomon backpack. Entering the virtual race via Facebook or Instagram gets you an extra raffle entry. If you didn’t preregister for the race, you can still participate in the virtual race for a chance to win prizes. Race staff will announce the winners on Monday, March 16, and prizes will be mailed to the winners.
