Young speedsters took top honors in the LaSportiva Vail Half Marathon on July 22. 25-year-old Brian Folts from Arizona led all runners to the top of Vail Mountain, running the course in 1:41:56, nearly four minutes faster than runner-up Andy Ames of Boulder (1:45:51). Bernie Boettcher of Silt finished third in 1:47:04.
