Why Do We Call Ourselves The Silverbacks?

A silverback is a mature male mountain gorilla, distinguished by an area of silvery hair across the back, and is the dominant member of its social group. We call ourselves the Silverbacks because we’re the 800 lb. gorilla in the room. We’re the unexpected. We’re the question demanding to be addressed. We’re different than all the other programs because you’re not just one of many, you become an integral part of our team. We are injury prevention specialists. We’re here to give you answers, find solutions to your problem, develop you like you’re the only athlete on the team, and guide you in your athletic career. We coach, train, and develop. We don’t recruit. We’re innovative and use different training methods than most. We care about who you are, where you’re going, and how you get there.
