Panera Bread Supports the Fight Against Hunger in Colorado with its second annual ‘Panerathon to Fight Hunger’
Proceeds from the 5K/10K race to benefit Food Bank of the Rockies

The second annual ‘Panerathon to Fight Hunger’
Panera Bread is sponsoring its second 'Panerathon to Fight Hunger,' a 5K/10K race in Colorado that helps the year-round fight against hunger by supporting Food Bank of the Rockies.
Each dollar raised during the ‘Panerathon’ will provide 4 meals to those in need throughout the community.
The race will start and finish outside the Panera Bread bakery-cafe in Westminster and is open to competitors of all abilities and ages. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.
Upon completing the race, participants and families are encouraged to celebrate their achievement by enjoying the festive post-race expo area, including fun activities for the whole family and freshly baked bagels, pastries, and sandwiches compliments of Panera Bread.
When:
Sunday, Sept. 28
Kids Fun Run starts at 7:30 a.m.
5K/10K starts at 8 a.m.
Where:
Westminster Panera Bread – at The Shops at Walnut Creek
10450 Towncenter Drive, off Highway 36 and Church Ranch Blvd.
Why:
Panera Bread is undertaking this effort to donate all event proceeds to benefit Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR). Last year, FBR distributed more than 25 million pounds of food to more than 700 hunger relief programs throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
