Special: ING New York City Marathon

10/24/08 Marathon week in New York will get off to its traditional big start on Sunday with more than 6,000 runners expected for the Poland Spring Marathon Kickoff in Central Park. The course winds its way around the park finishing near Tavern on the Green and the marathon finish line. A week from Sunday an expected 39,000 runners will hope to cross the same finish line at the ING New York City Marathon.
