 <title>Heart and Sole Half Marathon &amp; 10K (Formally Indoan Summer Half)</title>

&lt;p&gt;The Heart and Sole Half Marathon will be hosted by the Boulder Running Company in order to provide a quality yet reasonable alternative to other expensive half marathon races. The rising costs of registration fees for half marathons can limit participation in these tough economic times. The Boulder Running Company is taking this opportunity to offer an affordable race for runners who want to race or run for fun, but don&#039;t want to spend a lot. The BRC wants to make sure that running is supported, not discouraged, in these hard times.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Indian Summer Half Marathon, which is held at the Boulder Reservoir, will raise money to benefit the City of Boulder Parks &amp;amp; Recreation EXPAND program and the Orphans of AIDS Trust Fund foundation. The EXPAND program helps people with disabilities improve and gain new recreation and leisure skills that will enhance their overall quality of life. The Orphans of AIDS Trust Foundation (OATF) provides for the care of the children in South Africa orphaned as a result of AIDS.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Entry Fees&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Includes Brooks technical race shirt, Avery Brewing Company pint glass, aid stations on course with Eldorado Natural Spring Water, post-race food, beer tent, finishers’ medals and free entry to the Res.&lt;br /&gt;
Individual: $50 advance; $60 race day&lt;br /&gt;
Team: $90 advance; $100 race day&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Awards&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Overall Male/Female: $500&lt;br /&gt;
Team Award: $1000 (Winners ineligible for other awards)&lt;br /&gt;
Master’s Winners: $250&lt;br /&gt;
Age Group Winners: $50&lt;br /&gt;
Other age group prizes in divisions of 5 year increments&lt;br /&gt;
All runners receive finishers’ medals!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Organized by The Boulder Running Company, the 10th annual Joe Colton&#039;s Off Road Run offers scenic races through the beautiful mountain community of Rollinsville, Colorado. Your choice of a 5, 10 or 15 mile course will start you at 9,000 feet and follow dirt roads along the beautiful and scenic Continental Divide. The course is challenging with hills, high country beauty and awesome views of the Continental Divide. Great training for the Heart &amp;amp; Soul Half Marathon! Kids and families are encouraged to participate in the 1 mile Family Fun Run. Be sure to stay for the after race party!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The San Juan Mountain Runners present the 35th Annual Black Canyon Ascent.  This is a tough 6-mile road race starting at an elevation of 6500&#039; climbing almost 2000&#039; to the rim of the Black Canyon.  Beautiful vistas and scenic surroundings are the hallmark of this event.  After the race, stay and enjoy the spectacular Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The paved, scenic course starts 7 miles east of Montrose, CO at the junction of CO Hwy 347 and US Hwy 550, and steadily climbs almost 2,000&#039; up to the National Park. &lt;p&gt;The Colorado Marathon course runs down the Scenic Poudre River Canyon for the first 17+ miles, starting at Steven&#039;s Gulch Day Use Area. The course takes a right turn at the intersection of the Canyon road (highway 14) and highway 287, following on the right shoulder of 287 proceeding south to County Road 54G, heading through the City of Laporte to Cache La Poudre Junior High, turning on to the Poudre West Bike Trail that runs along the west end and south side of the school, crossing under Overland Trail Road and proceeding east on the bike trail to Linden Street, turning southwest and finishing at the Old Town Plaza at the intersection of Linden and Walnut.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Student Bar Association of the Sturm College of Law presents the return of its annual 5k run/walk.  This year the 5k benefits the Stephanie E. Boruta Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund and the University of Denver Loan Repayment Assistance Program for graduates entering the field of public interest law.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Sturm College of Law has an excellent public interest law program and encourages its students to give back through volunteerism and public service. To encourage this commitment among current and past DU students, the student body Senate has created the Race Judicata, a fundraising event to help those who choose to practice public interest law. All funds raised will benefit student endowed scholarship funds at DU Law, including the Stephanie E. Boruta Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund.&lt;/p&gt;
